I would stack two pieces of wall art on the slanted wall...remove the table it is just not working...maybe a very small demilune table with a rectangle mirror over it...remove the vase too....really is not doing anything for the space..once that is finished keep any acessories very simple...

Here are a few ideas to aid you in your dilemma. We agree with table isn't working. Perhaps try a bench with a piece of artwork over it? Or even a few hooks for hanging jackets. On the other side you could hang one large piece of artwork. Or you could place a console table with a piece of artwork/mirror over it where the vase is.

Put a table on the slanted wall and it would block the pathway to the office door on the left. We have a mushroom so also don’t want hooks for jackets right in our main entryway. The table is staying, my husband built it from an old singer sewing table and we really like it. I agree with a mirror over the table and artwork on the slanted wall. I think we will try that! Thanks!

Being you are keeping the old sewing machine table....just be sure your choice of mirror is cohesive with the antique country look... white frameI think is best.
