I have white cabinets with Cambria Brittanica and a light gray tile backsplash. It looks good.

Hi Kristy, do you happen to have the name of the brand and color of the tile? I was hoping to pick up the light gray in the veining of Brittanica and haven’t been able to find.

I like your longer tiles, but I would choose at least a 2x8 or 3x9 size for the herringbone or standard layout. The photos may be off, but in the first few pics that tile has a greenish tone to it. Is it just the photo lighting? you want a neutral gray without blue or green hues.

We agree with Beth. The tiles look greyish green. We would check the lighting and make sure it isn't that, otherwise try new tiles. You want a grey tile without those tones in it.

Hi, I used Bedrosians Grace tile in a 4x12. I used the Grigio. I bought mine on Wayfair but it’s been a while and they don’t sell it currently. You can still buy it online though.

They look a little brown in this picture on my screen but they are not. They are gray and they match the Cambria Brittanica well. The one thing with mine is that I used the Brittanica on the island and a solid white on the perimeter. Mine are a good match. I’ll take a picture tomorrow and add it.

The lighting isn’t good in this picture it looks yellow. I’ll send another one later. For now you can see it.

You guys are correct the last tile of the first pictures does have green tone. The longer tile is actually taupe. To me, it seems to have too much brown in it, not gray enough. Ugh, it is so hard to find a true gray.

Thank you so much Kristy for posting your picture! The gray tile is a beautiful true gray. My kitchen is a lot of smaller than yours :( so Im think I probably need something that is lighter color.

From your picture I will assume that this is a small area.. depending on your style you could try running the tile in a vertical layout. The colours you have picked are very safe and neutral. I’m not sure if there is enough surface area to do a herringbone layout that doesn’t look choppy unless you get a very small mosaic tile.

Sorry correction, the middle tile of the three has green undertone. It just occurred to me, my cabinets are off white (a bit ivory), would gray tile still work?

These are the shades of grays that would look best. more of the silver tone grays instead of the warmer, tan-grays.

Mine is a little darker than it looks like you are wanting.

Kristy, your kitchen looks gorgeous! Thank you for sharing! I wish I had picked white color for the cabinets just like yours, instead of the ivory white. That limits the gray color that I can choose. It has to be a warm gray. Sigh.
