Does anyone have the Restoration Hardware Kempton Bathroom Vanity?

I'm really interested in this vanity but it's not available to see in person at my showroom. I saw a different bathroom vanity in person at the showroom & the cabinet doors closed with a magnet &, when they closed, it makes the doors sound really flimsy, hollow & cheap (definitely not soft-close). The sales person called the headquarters & verified that not only do the drawers have soft-close hardware but the cabinets are also soft-close. Has anyone personally opened & closed these cabinets & can you please give me your true opinion of how they operate? Does the vanity seem cheap to you or not?

Just be careful if you can't see it. Go with your gut instincts. I made the mistake of ordering a bed that I could not see in the store and it was very cheaply made when it finally arrived. I called them up and they took it back.

I noticed that when looking at some of their furniture too, some did it some didn’t. Maybe it’s just optional? Anyway it is beautiful. Is it returnable or custom? I’d probably just go for it. Perhaps when items are actually inside it the echo sound goes away anyway.

Very good points to consider, thank you both! I believe it would be returnable because it's not a custom piece but I will definitely find out before committing to it.

did you end up seeing this vanity in person? or order it? I am also thinking of getting either the Kempton or Shutter vanity from RH for a guest bath and no gallery near me has either in the showroom

brit braga, we went ahead & chose it but our contractor has not ordered it yet. I plan on sharing photos & comments on our completed project so I hope it happens in time for my comments to be useful to you! Projected completion is July

Any recent updates on this vanity? I'm looking at this one too, but don't want to pay this price if the quality isn't worth it!

I’m sorry I forgot to update here after our remodel! In my opinion, this is well worth the money we spent. I’ll attach a photo and video for you to see the soft closing doors and drawers.

Shoot, the 2nd one is actually a video but it's only appearing as a photo. I'll keep trying.....

I don't have a youtube or Vimeo account so if you'd like me to send you the video via text or email, please PM me.

Hi this piece looks great in your space! Do you mind sharing the countertop you chose?

Kat, we chose the Caesarstone Frosty Carina and are very happy with it!

One more question - behind the doors are there shelves? Fixed or adjustable? Thanks so much, I couldn’t find this info on the RH site!

    Hi Kat,

Behind the doors there are no shelves. I decided to go with this pull-out shelf to maximize space. The sink on the right had plumbing that took up more space under the left side of the sink (picture number 1) and the sink on the left had plumbing that took up more space under the right side of the sink (picture number 2). That's why the shelves are mirror images of each other. I hope this helps!

We are considering the Kempton vanity and wanted to see how large the toe kick area is at the bottom of the vanity? The instructions and dimensions state that it is 1.5" tall and I am concerned that the toe kick will not work for us because it is not tall enough. I love the look of the vanity, but want to make sure that the toe kick would not be a deal breaker. Looking for the height from the floor to the top of the toe kick, as well as the depth of the toe kick piece. Any insight and thoughts would be appreciated! Thank you!
