George Nelson bubble lamp

I have a saucer shaped bubble lamp that I would like to have rewired so I can plug it in and not hardwIre. I also am thinking to use a chain and swag it but can't find any photos showing this type of set up. Has anyone seen this and can comment on how it looked? This is a genuine George Nelson that I purchased new in 2012 but have never used.
