I love the handrail, the stair planks look larger than average, are my eyes deceiving me or is that accurate?

Hello Leea, the stair planks (or treads) are 12" + a 3/4" nosing. The minimum allowable dimension is 10", which Is often used, so yes, these are larger than normal..

This wrought iron railing was based on traditional Spanish and/or Mediterranean style home railing designs.

What color was the railing painted in? Black? Matte? Or brown and black? Thanks!

Original color spec was for Benjamin Moore 60 Bronzetone. I believe we may have revised to a black color in the field, but i do not have a record of the final color selected..
