well, being that you've posted nothing relative to your space, I can only surmise. you're doing a tub? so you'd prob want to put it where it's viewable from that?

do you honestly spend that much time in there that you need a TV? With pausing capabilities and the ability to record multiple shows, is it really needed?

BTW, they make mirrors w/ TVs built into them. How about one of those?

That would be the last thing I want in a bathroom and I do have a bath every night but I love the quiet so I can relax. As for your space how would we know you have given us no info or a floor plan.

A bathroom TV is one of my husband's few house-requests. Yes, he spends enough time in the tub to justify it. Yes, he likes quiet /relaxation in the tub, but he also likes to watch sports occasionally. Our thoughts:

- We're going to have a Linen Tower on one end of the vanity, and the TV will be housed in the upper shelf of that tower. It will be viewable from the tub.

- We're no longer using cable and can't imagine going back to it, so we're not running cable wires into the bathroom.

- We will have a shelf around the tub to hold various things: a drink, candles, toiletries. We'll put a small basket on this shelf for the remote.

- I'm not crazy about that TV-in-a-mirror. You can also place any TV behind a mirror, but I'm not crazy about that either.

The tv's which are built into the mirrors are very expensive . I dont know anything about your room but if you have room above the vanity (away from the sink) you could do an open shelf to fit a small tv. You could also have it hanging on the end of the vanity like the pic I have attached. Dont forget you will need a place to put the cable box etc. which could go in the vanity.

We have a cheapy flat-screen centered over the tub, similar to the last photo posted by Jane. Never regret having it put it, as husband loves a long soak, especially on Sunday afternoons and he can relax and watch football in there for 45 minutes.

Does anyone still use cable boxes? If so, seriously, you need to check out the digital TV options available today -- the biggest one is Sling, but it's not the only game in town.

- You need to purchase a small digital "stick" that fits into the back of your TV -- Amazon Fire Stick and Roku are the big names. This costs about $35, and you only have to purchase it once -- well, once for every TV.

- You subscribe to a digital TV service -- as I said, Sling is the biggest one. They offer two different packages plus add-ons. We have the smallest package, and I think it's about $26/month, which is about 18% what we were paying for cable. You can easily pick up an "extra channel" just for a month or two (for example, an extra sports channel during March Madness or STARZ when the new Outlander airs).

- Once the show has aired, you can pull it up anytime later to watch it at your convenience; for example, my college daughter and I were watching a rather silly little show called Sirens -- but it was a "together thing" for us. She's away at college, but when she comes home we can access old versions and watch it together.

- The quality is 90% what you get from cable ... but, as I said, it's about 18% what we were paying for mid-level cable service.

- NO BOX.
