Winter Dormancy

When I got two blooming Phalaenopsis last April I planned on creating some kind of winter haven for them during the summer. Life happened and it never happened. I didn't tell my wife that they were going to die sometime during the winter, but I had emotionally written them off. Around Thanksgiving, one of them started with a yellow leaf. I cut back on the watering. I did the same for the other even though it looked fine. Long story short, here we are in January and I have not watered either orchid since well before Christmas. House temps go to around 60 most nights (its been a mild winter) up to maybe 70 in daytime. They get what passes for sunlight in Western Oregon in winter and nothing else. Leaves are glossy, firm and a nice shade of green, but of course there has been no new growth whatsoever. I don't know ... maybe I can pull them through? <crosses fingers>
