Mastic floor removal

We have followed all policies to remove one layer of linoleum from bathroom floor which contained asbestos in the glue to find under layer (speckled pink and black) linoleum from 1956. Fortunately, we were able to remove linoleum adhered to sub-flooring in good sized pieces. A tedious task but worth it the savings in our budget. Since we are working in a room enclosed with 6 mil vinyl while wearing space suits and NO ventilation we are looking to see if there is a simple mastic (containing asbestos) remover which can be used to remove from beautiful hardwood floors? We want to save the hardwood floors!
