I don't have much for you except to say that your art is to die for. I would center your table lamps more on the sofa table - they are too close to the edge for my eye. Maybe a few cool books on that table also? The sconces seem fine to me but I think they are too far apart. I realize it would be a big pain to move them in but I think that's what you need.

I like what I see. Obviously though you do not, so I would recommend adding dual silver and gold decor wherever possible to tie the sconces in.Lovely space! Best wishes!

I like those sconces. I would just move them closer to each other so that they both sit within the top of the mantel. right now they sit outside the mantel, which isn’t typical placement

Agree with the others that really like your sconces here and don't have a problem with them. Instead, I'd consider opting for a slightly simpler frame profile on the art that doesn't include a metallic accent and has a simpler box edge. Since you have beautifully detailed moldings above and below, I think a cleaner line would compliment your contemporary art best here and make the whole feel connected.

However, I'd consider styling your firebox in a way that helps add a little dimension to an otherwise dark and all-black space below. Maybe trying a different, flat panel screen - or doing without the screen for a little bit if your habits allow it. Interesting andirons or even a very thorough scrub of the firebrick inside the opening might yield a lighter color that's of interest with the rest of your elegant space. Cheers!

Gold with black shades would be lovely. Is there gold anywhere else? Aren’t your lamps nickel? Have you thought of a combination of glass and metal?

I like Stacy's comment...some greenery on one side of the art work. Black shades may be better for your sconces also

Depending on the cost of your new sconces, it might be cheaper to just have someone move them. Curry & Co and Visual Comfort can be pricey. A few hundred dollars for an electrician and painter could be similar or less. I think that will get the most bang for your buck and the current sconces are fine! Also, I speak from experience, lighting can often take FOREVER to ship. You can probably resolve this in a week with an electrician/painter.
