My wife and I recently finished our basement. One of the things left to do is this window. We framed it up but the drywall wasn’t completed on the inside. As you can see, it’s a small space (maybe 2’ long and 6” tall) but it just doesn’t look good. Idk if I want to finish the inside with drywall as this is a direct link to the outdoors and potential leaks and the framed opening is smaller than the actual window area. I have thought about getting some glass or plexiglass and framing it up on the outside with the same trim we have used throughout the basement. Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
