Marissa? Can you help identify this yellow lily?

Hello. I am usually over at the rose forum, but I am hoping that you guys can identify a lily. I have had this one for close to a decade and always thought the name was Marissa. I would like to order more but cannot find it anywhere, or any mention of a Marissa. It is about six feet tall, stands without support and has huge blooms of a mid-yellow - not at all gold. It is also highly scented.

    Regarding horticultural selections generally (and not lilies in particular) renaming has gone on a lot over time. Especially with old varieties that have been grown frequently over large areas published accounts may list a multitude of synonymous cultivar names that have been coined by various parties. (Even some wild plants being treated by the supposedly sober realm of professional botany may rather often have been subjected to repeated publication of differing botanical names).

    And trademarking and patenting do not confer 100% protection of commercially "owned" plants, as some selling of what are clearly examples of such under new names fabricated by second parties does appear to occur.
