Bathroom Reno

The much loved and much used master bath in our 1956 home was ready for a major Reno. We used a designer for the layout and to help pick finishes. Trades were used for the major things and my handy husband and myself were able to do the little ones.

We are very happy with it and hope it lasts another 60 years.

Thanks for looking!

Some more after photos. We wanted to keep the existing laundry chute.

I like your bathroom, especially the shower tiles and the vanity top. And how clever of you to keep the laundry chute!

Very nice! A laundry chute is just fab, isn't it? Did you backsplash the whole vanity wall? I like your choice of tile.

Great Job!!!! I agree with tartan - the laundry chute is awesome and love the way you camouflaged it.

While I love that our laundry/mudroom is on the main level where the bedrooms are in our 1950 limestone ranch, a part of me wishes it was in the basement so I could have a clever chute too. Nicely done on the remodel!

Thanks everyone! We fully tiled the vanity wall. The laundry shoot is a saviour for sure but when it comes time to reno the kitchen, I hope to put it there as the kitchen is directly over the laundry room.
