One of my Akee trees (Blighia sapida) is loaded with fruit. It's a self sown tree from the original one that had to be removed to make way for a building. They're toxic but supposed to be really good if prepared correctly. Call me a whimp but I prefer to not take any chances. There's plenty of other tropical fruit without this sort of 'baggage'. Overcast day so the photos turned out a bit dark.
