kitchen design ideas

I've moved all over the country in the past couple of decades and 2 years ago we finally bought our forever house and settled down. I'm gradually re doing the house and this year I'm doing the kitchen. It has become apparent that I need to change everything. I cook in my kitchen daily and I also do a lot of gardening and food preservation as this property has over a dozen fruit trees which is why I bought it even though I don't love the interior. I'm going for something cottage/ vintage/ but not shabby or worn looking. Think pastels, lace, tea sets mixed with modern convenience and durability. I love the way marble looks but prefer the durability of granite. The more cost effective I can be the quicker my kitchen will be done. I've looked into replacing flooring and counters but O have experience with painting so I can paint walls and cabinets myself. I love bead board too. I have golden oak hardwood throughout the main living area that does come right up to the kitchen tile. The first few photos are examples of the feeling I like and I the last is a shot of my current kitchen.
