What compliments Paisley without fighting with it? I want the room to be whimsical, fun and hip.

Just a side thought: is the comforter also a throw? it might have a loose/casual look thrown over the arm for laying one's head on it! Could still have a washable something over seat... solid?

Thanks so much for all your suggestions everdeb! I love the 60s vibe. I was unsure of making the paisley quilt work, but wanted a dark, non-solid color cover on the mattress on the daybed to hide inevitable food stains. Would a smaller print be better? The day bed is charcoal grey, not chocolate. May have been hard to tell on your computer screen. Would the lenox coffee table still work?
