Longer than the TV- black would be nice so it will all blend together and look like one unit.

TV stand should be 25-50% longer than the TV. The TV should rest a few inches above the stand when mounted, yours is a little high but if you don't feel like lowering it just get a slightly taller stand.

Do you want a stand or a cabinet? I agree with the above comments regarding length. Where are you putting your speakers?

IMO the TV is hung too high so make sure when looking for a cabinet it is lower and at least 25% wider than the TV. I love Besta from Ikea for this situation
