Beautiful house! Get the regular height table. You already have counter-high seating in the kitchen.

Personally, I hate “pub” height tables. They were popular several years ago & I think their popularity waned. I know of two relatives of mine who had them & have now replaced them with a regular dining height table. Something I’ve noticed: often when dining out at restaurants with both, the patrons fill up the regular height tables first, often the others are left empty.

That table will be IMO very uncomfotable to sit at and if you have wood floors those big clunky stools will cause scratches over time. I love sitting on a stool for a quick snack or a coffee but to eat dinner I still find a regular height table better. Since you have stools at the counter it just makes sense to have a regular table for dining.I think something like this with chairs similar to the stools

I also dislike counter height tables. They are awkward and uncomfortable. It would also tower over your sofa. A rectangular standard seat height table would work much better.
