Hon, you need an ARCHITECT. And probably a new entry. You may as well get the arch, because the city will require the drawing in order to secure a permit.

We will be getting an architect. In the past this forum has always been really helpful for bringing new ideas to light that I can take into a meeting with a professional. I expect our architect to have good ideas, but I also value input from people who have done these sorts of projects before.
