BEAUTIFUL RED GRANITE! IS IT HARD TO FIND?

I HAVE NEVER SEEN RED GRANITE OR MARBLE (EXCEPT IN ROME!); WHERE CAN I FIND IT? WE ARE BUILDING A LAKE HOUSE, AND I WOULD LIKE TO FIND IT. THANKS

Just bought an older home that used this on all kitchen counters. Its really very pretty but also very bold. Am thinking of painting the cabinets white and then painting walls a light neutral gray as they are yellow now. Owner used a tumbled beige stone backsplash which doesn't quite go. Thoughts on backsplashes???? Appliances are stainless with a new white farmhouse sink. Trying to change style from very country to more classic. Floors are a natural colored travertine leaning towards light beige. Much thanks in advance.

@jenniferDiltz the red iron stone is not hard to find. You can locate it at your local natural stone warehouse or through a fabricator. It IS an exotic material, and the fabrication will be costly as well.
