I have a very long hallway that includes my entryway. The combined hallway + entryway is 20 ft. The hallway portion from the corner at the far end to the corner at the near end by the shoe tray is about 9’8”.

I know I should put a runner in the hallway, but not sure how to handle the entryway. Since it is somewhat contiguous, should I put 2 identical runners? Or should I put a door mat in front of the entry door, and if I do that what should I do for a rug in the shorter portion of the hallway after the front door (the portion in the nearest part of the photo)?

The hallway clearly widens in the entryway, but the shoe tray, bench, and entry table narrow the space enough that it’s effectively the same width as the far hallway.
