Ikea wardrobe event 2019?

Does anyone know when the next IKEA sale will be on PAX closet systems? The last one I've seen (for US) was back in January 2018 and was 15% off. We want to use PAX for our master closet and I've been waiting for a sale. Thanks!

I was just at IKEA looking at the PAX stuff and it sounded like a good sale starts right away in March and lasts about 3 weeks. Not sure on actual percentage off though.

Anna - thank you! I just finished designing our closet with PAX so I know exactly what to get and how much it will cost. Was just hoping to save a bit of money. I'm planning on going next week and I'll ask about a sale.

If you haven't already, sign up for their spam. :-)

They don't send out too many messages. The most recent one I received was Feb. 18 (for the new Delaktig collection), and before that, a President's Day email on the 15th. About every 3 days isn't too bad!

ODD - Yep, I already get their spam! I hadn't seen anything yet that indicates an upcoming PAX sale, but every google search I do has people saying the events happen ~ 3 times a year. The last one I found was over a year ago, so I'm getting tired of waiting. I calculated that I'd save over $500 if there is a 15% off sale. Worth waiting for, but I'm so tired of my closet being 'makeshift'. If I don't see anything by mid-March, I'm biting the bullet and just buying it. I'd take a few days off during spring break and assemble it.

I've been wondering the same thing. I'd love to see a wardrobe event soon! I think they offer a 90 day price match from IKEA Family members.

Still waiting for the sale too and can't find anything about it One person I talked to said it will only include the PAX frames :(.

It looks like the frames are supposed to be on sale now, but I only see one discounted. The home page says "All PAX wardrobe frames up to 20% off for IKEA FAMILY members Mar 6 – Mar 17, 2019". Has anyone been in a sore this week to see if they're really on sale?

Becky - that's great to hear there is a sale! But total maddening in that I was there on Monday and spoke to salesperson and specifically asked about any upcoming sale and they indicated nothing. But cool! I'm going to try place an online order for pickup and see if the sale prices come through.

I was there on Monday and no one indicated a sale was coming!

I went back and looked at my online shopping cart that I hadn't pulled the trigger on. All wardrobe frames were discounted 20%, but nothing else was. I went ahead and placed my order. My savings were about $150. Not what I was hoping for, but better than nothing!

Just got the email that PAX sale is 3/6 thru 3/17, 20%. Better than the 10% kitchen sale happening now.

And I was tipped off to the kitchen sale weeks early, but that was from the dept, manager. She knew when, but didn't know details like % off or if it was reduced prices (yes) or store credit.

I got the same email. It is up to 20% off PAX frames. Just need to be an IKEA family member. Free and simple to do though.

My understanding is that the discount only applies to the frames, which makes it rather pointless, as most of the cost is in doors and accessories. I mean the most expensive frame is like $100.

bry911 - We are doing ours without doors as its inside our master closet. So, the single most expensive items were the frames and we are using 9 of them. It's not exactly pointless, but yeah, a discount on all of it would have been better. I recall at some point last year they had a sale on just the doors. If we decide to add some later, maybe we'll take advantage of that. My total cost for a 7' x 10' closet came in around $1700 including tax. The Elfa estimate I received for almost the same layout was $5100 (with their 30% sale).

I agree the sale wasn't all that great but the almost finished project has made completely forget how much I spent on the doors. The shallow depth is perfect for towels, toilet paper and the instant pot.
