Hello! Thank you for your message and kind interest in our work. For slanted ceilings we use a different type of canopy with a movable bracket (see attached photo); that will allow you to keep the cords as they are and adjust the canopy to the angle of the slope.

We would still need to have an idea of the angle of inclination of your ceiling to confirm that it may fit the whole length of said bracket . Please let me know, we are happy to find a solution for your space! Camilla

And I should add that yes, the cords are actually adjustable of a few inches as needed, but with this type of bracket you won't need to have them at different lengths. I hope this helps! C.
