Curious when the embryo of a scape forms inside the bulb for purposing of timing fertilization. I have 2 hydroponic fertilizers (MaxiGrow and MaxiBloom) meant for foods that I am trying on Hippeastrums — one emphasizing vegetive growth while the other encouraging blooms. When the new season’s leaves start emerging, I’ll start with MaxiGrow then at some point late season I should switch to MaxiBloom.
