I think your main problem is that wallpaper - it's too busy, too cold, and it steels attention from cosier elements, like that lovely curtains and furniture.

I think brighter and warmer wall colour would look much better in your space. I would limit blue for accents like that nice blanket and pillows.

Another issue I see is tv console/unit. It's too modern for the rug and some of the furniture..

Also, that wall colour is cold and IMO doesn't work with the rug and curtains.

How do YOU define warm, cozy and homey? You need to hone in on those images. Perhaps another look at your inspiration pictures is warranted? See if any common elements in them strike a chord with you? I noticed a lot of large wood elements (walls, furniture) and gallery walls.

I'm not a pro but when I look at your living room, what doesn't strike me as cozy are the coffee table, the chandelier and the TV area. My suggestions: find a rounded-edged coffee table (simple curves in wood perhaps), a less blingy light fixture (it doesn't have to match the one in your dining room just relate in style) and find something warmer toned for the TV area. I'd also be tempted to warm up the picture frames on the sofa wall. Perhaps muted gold instead of white.

If you feel the space is too bright (It's really hard to tell over photos), try to replace transparent and shinny and reflecting items (like coffee table, chandelier) with more solid materials, like wood, iron..

You have a beautiful space, but I agree it can be warmed up. I would swap out that coffee table for something earthier, wooden. And I would change up the rug to something more colorful and cozy. Colorful textiles are a great way to warm up the space.

Hmm just a thought but what if the TV which looks like it is in the walkway to the patio/beach area, were put on the wallpapered wall, face the sofa to the sea and the chairs on either side of the sofa? Recliner to the left of the new TV place facing the sea on an angle? The you can put really slim floor to ceiling closed storage for video books etc and a pretty runner on the tile from entry to sliding door/windows.

I would paint over the tapette with a white primer and then paint over the whole wall with a touch of very pale translucent pastel turquoise. Also new curtains in bright yellow ocher, beige / sand, or even very noble in a noble gold. The vohange can be even more beautiful, embroidered with gold ..... in satin or silk ...
