I would call the company first see if they have a drawer already fit with the lock and you will only need to mortise for a strike plate.

If you hire someone locally make sure they have experience doing this sort of work because installing locks into narrow material you need experience and specialty tools and possibly a specialty jig not to mess the drawer up.

If you try doing this DIY make sure you find the right lock and as I said before have the right tools, and if you mess it up there is no one to blame.

I know that locks can be added to closet drawers after the fact but it all depends on the closet system and construction. Please reach out to the fabricators of your closet to see if how it was constructed to see if it is possible with your system.
