No! They will blend just fine. No one is lining them up and comparing side by side.

They certainly don't have to match. Some people prefer that they do (I have a friend who would be driven batty by handles that don't match). Others (including many/most on here, including me) prefer to pick and choose from different manufacturers for different appliances to get the best options for each, which means handles don't match.

Totally agree with the above comments. The stainless appliances in our kitchen are different brands, different handles. Not a problem at all.

For me, mine match, as the wall oven & fridge are next to each other, & DW is in the island kitty corner. but we did have a discussion about it. We went with the Frigidaire pro series.

Some of the mid/higher end brands will have some handle options, like modern vs traditional, or straight vs curved, for the same appliance model. I try to at least choose handles that are similar style, but don't have to be exactly the same or match. So I would try to keep to all straight handles when shopping between brands. Ultimately the function of the appliance wins over the look of the appliance.

thank you all this was so helpful

Great answer, M Miller. So true regarding manufacturers not excelling with all their appliances.

Really just get the appiances that work for how you cook and all the handles will disappear in a good functioning kitchen there are so many things in life to worry about and this for sure is not one of them.

I'm in the function first camp and none of our kitchen appliances are from the same manufacturer. All are stainless but chosen based on overall function. If you feel the need for matching handles just think a bit about your budget. If one of those appliances fail in a few short years and you need to replace it, the manufacturer may have changed their handle styles, sometimes a bit but enough that it won't 'match' what you have and you may feel the need then to replace them all, even if the rest all work! If you think that would be crazy then maybe they don't need to match now.
