What is it that you want to make?

google "gable brackets"

Here's one.

The bracket that is free of the wall is the gable bracket. The other stuff is trim applied to the wall. Any home builder can do it.

Be very careful; they can be ostentatious.

"Be very careful; they can be ostentatious."

Good advice worth repeating.

The builder makes the gables.

What material? You didn't even say what country you're in, so how can anyone know what is available to you?

Plus, those things are obviously fake, tacked-on trim. If they were real or looked real (structural) they wouldn't look ostentatious.

Here's a builder who can make realistic versions. Keith Sumner Homes

Nice, dan1888.

And the reason those look real and the OP's don't is that the beams that project from the house are vertical (as real beams are), not 45-degree diamonds (which aren't how beams are laid).

I think you meant to say beams are horizontal. Gable brackets are meant to emulate Medieval heavy timber trusses so some kind of angled element would be typical (triangles being basic to the concept of a truss) and the trusses would have been used to support the roof inside as well

The truss example above is a simpler more efficient heavy timber truss design.

.

Just get out your checkbook and hand it over to the builder...don't expect to get it back.

FWIW, the photo shows a house so over-done that its almost repulsive in architectural terms.
