I know the exterior door hardware and lighting don’t have to match. My shutters will be black and I was planning on using a black handle set. Should I use black lighting, or orb? If I use the orb lighting, should I use the orb hardware too? I have included an unfinished photo of the front porch. This porch is not as I would have wished it to be, however, I won’t be living here permanently and it is ten times more attractive than it was. And due to lack of additional siding to repair it, this is about the best we could do. All will be painted white, with black shutters added to the windows and a colored door....yet to be decided. I would love to wait till it is all pained and finished, but I really need to get a light and door hardware. With the weather, it may be a while longer to get it all painted and I need to secure the house and get some light ASAP. All options appreciated!
