I too am having this problem, pls see my similar post, similarly titled, at Using House & HP forums. Emily had said she'd pass it on to be looked into.

It's very annoying to scroll past Related Discussions just to read or post. If I wanted to see Related Discussions, put it at the end of the thread. Not in the middle.

In reality, we all lived without Related Discussions for years here on GW. If we needed, we could do a search. This is dumbing down the forum

Any update on this Emily? Not only are these 'related discussions' poorly placed, whatever algorithm is being used to choose them is just this side of worthless - 90% of them don't relate in any meaningful way other than perhaps having a word in the title in common.

Thank you for moving them back to the side.

At least on my work PC & home laptop, both using Google Chrome, Related Discussions is back on the side, perfectly visible, but not interrupting the Thread.

Relevance ---- that's another matter ;>)
