Here's my sangulinne blood orange (I spelled it wrong). It has had several flushes this Winter. The brighter glossy leaves are new from December/January and now it has this small branch growing off the flush that happened a month earlier. It seems normal. Your plant appears to be thriving and its just trying to push out growth from wherever it can.
