Garages/Workshops Exterior Design Dilemma

help with garage door color

Hello! Recently we replaced our garage door so need to paint it now. Originally it was light blue like the rest of our house. Our front door and gate is in a dark gray. I’m wondering if we should paint the garage door the same as before, which is the color of our house, or if it’ll be better to paint it dark gray. And should we still keep the white trim?

Paint it blue, leave the trim, but add some color to the flower bed.

Upload your photo to some of the major paint company websites and use their apps to "try on" different colors. If it won't make you stick out too much from the neighbors, you might consider black for the garage door and for the security gate. Agree you need color in the front bed.

White trim looks nice and I'd say that it would be great to get back the original color

I would paint both the garage door and the garage door trim the same color as your house. There is no need to highlight either the door or its trim. Add a some color via a trellis, other plants or potted plants on your steps and porch.
