Kitchens Design Dilemma Polls

So i posted about the quartzite i choose darkening a but secondary to the veins “bleeding” into the stone. I have decided to forgo the quartzite and go for marble
I am between 2 slabs- i haven’t been able to find much in 3 cm in general but that is what i originally wanted. I prefer not to miter the edge hence why the 3 cm. Also prefer a honed finish- the 2 cm one is already honed.

Also do you think the white will be more clear after the 1st stone is honed?

I'm not sure what you mean by more clear if you have the 3cm honed. When honed, stone can look a bit lighter, but by not much. Your 3cm selection is darker to begin; also, how comfortable are you with honed? There's a world of difference between a vanity top and kitchen counters in terms of exposure and daily living.

I recommend honed with marble because the natural etching will not be as apparent. If you go with polished, you will notice dull spots (etching)
