I believe there is a time limit on editing.

Well, that is not correct :-) I have edited my posted responses well in excess of 24 hours.......in fact, a response I made to one thread on Sunday 3/3 I just now edited!! As long as the edit button is showing (upper right hand corner of the posted comment), you can edit.

It does disappear with time.....but it takes much longer the 24 hours to do so!

Well, to use the Australian vernacuar - Bugger!!!

All i wanted to do was amend the title to say additional information had been posted. :-((( Grrrrrrrr.

You can edit comments below the original post for a couple of weeks, but as GG48 says the original post is only open to editing for a few hours and the subject line not at all.

wouldnt you edit by posting a new answer ...

personally.. i dont go back and reread every post every time i visit... so if you edit an old answer.. i wouldnt ever see it ... especially in posts that end up with dozens .. if not hundreds of replies ....

as to typos in titles.. omg ... wish those were fixable.. lol ...
