I got this lovely white rose at the grocery when they were giving them away after valentine's day.

It is fading now, but when I pulled it out of the vase to toss it just now I noticed that it seems to be pushing out some new growth. What do you think? Would I be able to root it (I don't see any signs of roots) and if so, is this likely to be a rose hardy here in central Ohio?
