My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Stair Railing

Beautiful Stairs/Railing? What material did you use? Poplar, white oak? Etc? Measurements? Are the posts 3" and railings 2.5"? Thx

    Hi Rose N. Thank you for your kind words. We used White Oak with a very light stain on it, almost white washed to keep it from looking to yellow. The posts are 4" and the railings are 2.5". I hope this helps you plan a renovation. Good luck!

    Thank you for getting back to me. Love the simplicity yet sophistication of the stairway.
    I know you mentioned the railing is 2.5". Is that all around? The sides also? Are your balusters iron and what measurement? I am thinking of going with either 3/4 round or square 1/2".
