My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    I would say at least 18". Of course most people want the island as large as they can fit into the space and that is perfectly fine to make it deeper.

      Hi - remodeling & will have similar bar/island set up.... would you mind sharing the approximate spacing between sink & seating area? Hubby thinks about a foot's distance is enough, I'm thinking more like 18-24 inches? Thanks so much for sharing your work & wisdom - it's beautiful!
