Hi. I’m looking for ideas on remodeling and upgrading materials on front of home. Would like to upgrade materials while giving home more style and curb appeal. I’m not a fan of the columns but understand some kind of support is needed for overhang. From photos of other homes with columns, it appears they are used in symmetry with doors, windows and gables. The columns on this home are not symmetrical. Does it still work? Are there alternatives to replacing them? Home is on estate size wooded lot. Surrounding homes are all different styles. Thank you!
