Garage door paint help

Hi! i want to paint my garage door but don’t know what color. what color would you suggest? I wont be doing the trim Or shutters right now. just the garage door. And what do I do with the paneling part at the top of the garage door where the numbers are? Help!

I wouldn't paint it. The current color looks good and keeps it from being the overwhelming feature of your house.

If the garage door needs repainting ( or maybe just a good cleaning?), I would keep the color the same as it is now. As Groveraxle says you do not want the garage door to overwhelm the rest of the house. Now painting the front door a bright and cheerful color would be a good idea.

I agree. Also, you don't need the shutters.

It is so faded and discolored. Weve had it power washed. It really need repainted but we do not know the color. The front door is a lovely shade of teal :) It’s very pretty IMO. How would i go about finding out the color of this paint. We’ve been here 10 years.

Take one of your shutters to the paint store and have it color matched.
