You don't think that dark flooring would "shrink" a small condo?

Get a sample of that flooring, take it into your condo, and have a look at it next to your own finishes and in your own light. If you still aren't sure, then solicit other in person opinions, and as a last resort, online opinions, because photos on monitors are a lousy way to judge.

R Adair, IMO it looks pretty good using your visualizer. I think you might go a tiny bit darker, but it doesn't seem to fight with the reddish maple. Still, get a sample in your condo to see it in real life before you commit.

It doesn't look natural (real). It looks stained/washed. I always find it better to go with a natural finish; the floor should not draw attention to itself (unless it's marble).

And, yes, I know it's not really real, but that coloring only draws attention to the fact that it's fake. Do they make something that looks natural? Use that.

A floor that looks like light natural maple would look nice with reddish natural maple and black counters. This one has some tones that look unnatural.

I'm looking at laminate or luxury vinyl plank for durability and cost. I may rent it out in the near future so I want it to be durable and not crazy expensive :)

Yes, but you also dont want it to LOOK cheap either.

Luxury vinyl plank is the fastest growing flooring. I have even seen it on Joanna Gaines show in a new home build. So there is a market for it, and it's not just for a cheap price. In her case, the home owners wanted a maintenance free floor for grandchildren.
Depends how it looks in person. I'd be inclined to buy a sample box and lay it out to be sure how it really looks before committing.

Gorgeous. I went to a showroom yesterday and took a look at several samples. Some are amazingly well done. The quality has steadily improved in the last few years.
