I’m not a fan of gray, and I can’t paint or change the carpet. So I’m pondering adding some color to the floor. Two questions here, one, am I nuts for loving this colorful rug? And two, can someone photoshop it into my space? For reference, the sofa is 92” and the coffee table is 48”. The green pillows are apple green from Ballard Designs a few years ago, and the chairs are a very subtle herringbone fabric in aqua, cream, and tan. The sofa is a yellow/green beige.
On the other side of the room is a soft white buffet, and a brown leather Ekornes chair. No picture right now because I’m still unpacking and there’s a pile of boxes in the way. Eventually I will hang white curtain panels, and I do have a few more pieces of artwork to hang. I’d say my style is mid-century with a side of boho color.
