Haha, yes trust me, I'm tired of all this exotic sh*t too!

And the more I travel around, the more depressed I get at how little remaining native wilderness is even vanishing - and being replaced by pavement and suburban exotics! :(

So, I keep persevering to at least document what little is left!

Hawaii has had all sorts of issues with newcomers. Between the rats, mongeese, pigs, fire ants, assortment of invasive plants, and humans, the islands are all sort of a disaster. Even (or especially) the waters around the islands are in bad shape, and not just from coral bleaching. Peacock grouper and various non-native snapper have wreaked havoc on the smaller reef fishes. The native islanders must continue to be forlorn about the state of their homeland and how quickly it’s changing.
