I love your decor but imo you have too many small items in the room as well as a few pieces of furniture that dont work well with the sofas.

I would remove the following:

two chairs

white table as well as everything on and above it

coffee tables

everything on top of the fireplace

Rearrange:

Put the large blue artwork over the fireplace

Use tge two wicker baskets in between the sofas as coffee tables (maybe)

Then take a step back and see what you have. I think the white table goes well in the room just not where you have it. Maybe the blue lamp could go back as well as the artwork. Just not sure where.

Great room! I love your pieces! I would bring in more colors by way of throw pillows. Maybe consider upgrading drapes to something with more weight or pattern. Does the canvas fit over the fireplace? If so, how does that look? I appreciate your mix of elements...my house is quite electric as well :)

The issue here is that nothing works with anything else. Too many styles, too much going on. The colors are not working together either. Remove the chairs from the room. They don’t work with the sofas and rug. Remove the antique looking clock and everything from the top of the fireplace. Try putting the abstract painting above the fireplace. Put the nesting coffee tables together as one piece. Try this and then take some more photos...

Just looked again. Those aren’t nesting tables, right? Just use one. Get rid of the other two. Remove tray and items from coffee table.

I'd remove the red art and flower and place together in entry...and also the table.

Here’s another design plan that might work for you: Make an L shape with your sofas, putting one sofa where the chairs currently are. Remove the coffee tables and use the two baskets as coffee tables. Put the two chairs on the right of the fireplace with the small glass table in between. Hang the large abstract over the fireplace. See how the clock looks on the left side of the mantel. Place the white jar and candlesticks where you currently have the clock. This might balance out the room and make the pieces work. The current coffee tables are too heavy and don’t match anything else. I would get rid of them.

Well, you have nothing to lose by doing a bit of tweaking right? Then if it still doesn't work, get rid of what isn't working...(remember, YOU are the one that has to like it)

I can only tell you what I would do...

The coffee table I would try turning them and putting the lower one between the other two...it might be all sorts of artsy that way...make sure there's no space between them.

I would put the bold art above the fireplace.

Separate the chairs and put one of the small tables between. Move the other one out for the time being.

I like what's going on with the console table. Push the wicker stools in as far as they'll go and maybe throw one of those sheepskins over them.

You could absolutely do tons of other things if none of this works and you want to buy stuff, but I'll leave those to others to suggest.

IMO It looks much better in that location. I suggest you hange the painting. Dont lean in.

What is mantel's material? any need to change it?

First photo of mantel and mirror and wood{?} doodad, nice... so I assume the art has no other spot ?

In eclectic way I can see art there -but- and it'd be worth it if I thought I ouldc do it ok - without the bottom 10" of it, smaller. Rectangular. I didn't say it wasn't a wild idea. ;-)

Yes it would look better if it were smaller. Try hanging it close to the ceiling.

I think it works...as long as you really commit to the eclectic look (and it will be added to by you over time. To me, it's something that has to evolve)

Def, hang it a few inches above. If it's not heavy, you can use command hooks to see if you like it where it is. If it is heavy, you can rest it on a couple of books...
