solid or striped window panels?
Our family room has a farmhouse vibe but I can't figure out if I should keep the solid white window panels as shown in the photo or change them out to a subtle stripe. Do the solid panels look to formal and/or boring? My rug (photo supplied) has blues and yellows so I could either do a tan or blue stripe (options provided).

7 years agolast modified: 7 years agoThe stripe is pretty, but it's not going to make any more of an impact than what you currently have since it's quite similar and, as you say, subtle. Have you given any thought to a Buffalo check? I think this style is lovely in a farmhouse design.

7 years agoThe Vermont Country Store has both Ticking Stripe and Buffalo Check in a 96" length and navy color. Raise all of your rods to the ceiling level on the TV wall. Better to hem drapes that are too long than to be stuck with some that are too short.
