DH said the same thing about the price. I've been sleeping so badly, I guess I was hoping that at that price, the pillow guaranteed restful nights. :P Alas, it can't and I really can't justify the splurge right now.

Whoa! That is one pricey pillow even at the sale price. I am happy with our pillows from Pacific Coast. Sometimes found at TJ Max, or their website.

I would worry about toxins/offgassing from these or any other memory foam products, especially pillows.

I've never heard of Pacific Coast, maddielee. What are they made of? I thought of that as well, Olychick, but their pamphlet (which I had picked up at the bed store I was so enthralled with their little demo station) says everything is non-toxic. What's your preferred pillow type?

Pacific Coast carries different fillings. I’m not even sure what mine are made of, and am not with my pillows right now.

Thank you for the link, maddielee. They offer goose down and a down alternative. They even have a natural option that blocks dust mites and allergens. Machine wash and dry. Sounds exactly like what I want. Affordable shipping to Canada, no less. Yes!

This pillow from Brookstone, at $49 is my favorite. I never thought I would like memory foam, but Funkyart recommended this one several years back and I tried it. I may order another or two just to have a spare. It feels so good and I seldom have morning neck pain.

I never smelled any off-gassing and it isn’t hot.

Good to know, OutsidePlaying. Thanks!

If that's a concern, FWIW, my allergist says that if you have dust mite allergy, if your pillows are more than 6 months old, they're too old, no matter how many times you wash them and whether or not you use the prescription-level pillow covers, so I would never in a million years spend for the technogel pillow.

tartanmeup, I have organic latex foam pillows. One talalay foam, one dunlop foam. I think the talalay is more squishy. I also have a latex mattress.
