Cleaning windows and glass with pure water and paper is the best home tip that works better but sometime it left some spot on the window.

Just did my windows last weekend. Bucket and squeegee. I used warm water and vinegar with about 1tsp of dish soap. They look great!

My grandmother used to use white vinegar and newspaper.

I live on the water and often have the salt mist issue....the very best thing that I have found is a little ammonia mixed w water and a squeegee. I get lemon ammonia so it dilutes the smell. Works wonders.
