Look on Help Me Find /Roses (a web site). I'm pretty sure they are still available. There is a button to click which will tell you which nurseries carry it. I had one once, and got rid of it because it was so ugly. There are not really any flowers - where the flowers should be is just a cluster of leave sort of things. Some people like them for flower arrangements, however.

On helpmefindroses enter R. chinensis viridiflora and you'll find this green rose.

Antique Rose Emporium has it. It is not lime green though. I like it. Its an oddity.

In my conditions, much of the "bloom" was bronze. I think you can increase the green-ness with high-acid fertilizers.

Thanks for the help! I meant more like the greensleeves rose. I don’t see them here though

There is an interesting legend about the Green Rose being a symbol of the Underground Railroad before the abolition of slavery in the United States: https://www.sciencefriday.com/articles/picture-of-the-week-the-green-rose/

I've grown 'Green Ice' and it was easy to grow, disease-free, and bloomed a lot. The downside was that you had to deadhead quickly, because when the blooms faded, they became reminiscent of un-washed ashtrays. :-( My husband loathed it.

Lol, Jeri—that is THE best description of a nasty bloom I have ever heard!! :-)

Thanks for the tip! I really like the very green "flowers" on viridiflora, but not so fond of the brownish ones. When I had it, I didn't get the green ones. This info makes me want to try it again.

Growing up in Seattle in the 80’s we had a hybrid tea in our backyard that had large 4-5” blooms born singly on long stems that were white with light green outer petals. They had no fragrance that I remember. The most similar looking rose I could find on HMF is Lemonade (the florist version under that name).

Burlington has Green Ice a Ralph Moore miniature rose that has a similar green shading that I remember from my childhood.

Green ice but bear in mind it's a miniature and the color is rather variable. Sometimes white, sometimes light pink, sometimes green, and in cooler weather you can get a few to a lot of pink splotches. And yes, the spent blossoms are depressing.
