Window Design Opinions

I have put off replacing these original 50's windows for 10 years because I just can't bear the thought of replacing them, but I think it's finally time. We have a generally contemporary/modern style and the house is a sprawling 50's brick ranch house. Love to hear opinions...

I agree with olychick, we need more to go on. Can you post the interior of a favorite room or two so we get a sense of your style? I'm confused by all the lines on the windows. Are those custom designed muntins or ? What do you have now? Does it make sense to replace with something similar? If not, what are you hoping to achieve?

I would replace with similar. No. 1. Maybe in black or charcoal to go with roof.

I'd probably replace with #2, but then, my taste runs to contemporary. What's your interior design style?

we go for a more contemporary style.

Well, my own personal, highly non-pro opinion is that, with contemporary, the simpler the better.
