Garages/Workshops Design Dilemma Exterior

Adding attached garage and updating exterior

We are going to be adding a two-car attached garage to our home and we are thinking about how we can update the front of the house to give it some more visual interest while we are at it. Not very good at visualizing what we can do so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Please make sure the garage doors sit back from the front edge of the house. A walkway from the street to the front door is IMO a must. If by any chance you are replacing windows I would get rid of the arched one for sure.I think some landscaping would help but of course hard to tell with all the snow.
