Small Bathroom Design!

Hello!

We bought an old downtown townhouse that we have slowly been updating. I'm happy with everything except the bathroom. I'm at a loss and don't know what to do. The issue is that it's a very small space. It has white whisp walls from Benjamin Moore (light grey - no browns), like the rest of the place. The townhouse itself is a 3 bed in less than 1200 square feet. I have 2 kids and this is our 1 washroom. The city we live in is very expensive so we are lucky to have this place. I just want the bathroom to be nice. The vanity, flooring, and toilet are all brand new. There's no shelving or hand towel bars, the mirror was just meant to be temporary. I chose the current light fixture because it matches the design of our dining fixture (black with edison bulbs) and I wanted to have some continuity, but I am open to changing the lighting fixture. I'm also open to having a feature wall - but nothing in earth tones. We have a minimalist scandanavian design t/o, with black accents.
