I want to add my thanks too Paula..and thanks to all of you for your fabulous pics..the winter is a challenge..it's hard for me to stay in a good mood..the hosta alphabet brings joy to drab winter days :-)

Thanks Paula for keeping this going every year. I look forward to the alphabet to soothe my garden itch no obsession! Glad to hear that you are cancer free. My wife has been cancer free since 1990. She had a periferal stem cell transplant for lymphoma. Happy gardening!

Paula, I do thank you too. We are very fortunate to have you! You and your jokes are amazing! You just come at the right time of the year when the nights are so long and dark, and we need a pick me up! You bring a lot of joy to me.

I apologize that I have not been active of late. I still do love hosta, but have been preoccupied in a different direction. It was my desire to be able to remove a large maple tree in my backyard, but my city has denied me that. I am getting ready to appeal but the process is drawn out and chances are slim for us to be able to remove the tree. But I will try!
